NEW WARNING ON KILLER JELLIES

One In Three Drugs Deaths In Scotland Involved Temazepam, According To
New Research.

Agencies yesterday said the problem of "jellies" in the west of Scotland is
worse than anywhere else in the UK.

Although heroin is considered to be the main killer, toxicologist Dr John
Oliver claims temazepam is also a significant factor.

He warned the number of users is set to rise. He told BBC's Frontline
Scotland: "If we can eliminate temazepam, we can reduce the number of drug
deaths by 20 per cent."
