I enthusiastically endorse the idea of a presidential candidate
running upon the plank of drug legalization, or at least marijuana
legalization.

I can't think of a better stance to gain a beachhead and foothold in
the consciousness of American political thought. The war on Americans
ripping apart the fabric of our country called the War on Drugs is a
main reason that many are becoming members of the Libertarian Party,
as it is the only political party with this plank. I can think of no
better way to salvage what is left of individual freedom from unjust
persecution and incarceration than ending this ill-conceived war on
"drugs," and in having our presidential candidate touting the message.
