This week's articles on marijuana eradication just show me what
happens when the majority of people (especially those in power) don't
learn from history. The situation with marijuana eradication today is
similar to the alcohol prohibition in the 1920s. When alcohol was
banned, there was massive violence between beer cartels (Al Capone was
the most famous alcohol lord) and people never stopped drinking. That
is because no government law can stop addiction.
