The bandits struck again on Wednesday evening, bringing the number of their holdups to nine in the past two weeks, said Vancouver police Const. Anne Drennan. Around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday the pair entered a cab near King Edward Avenue and Main Street. When they stopped at East 11th Avenue and Prince Albert Street, one man pulled out a knife and demanded cash from the driver. "We understand some of the cab companies are looking at putting shields in (their vehicles). As police, we feel that's the way to go," Drennan said. Police are looking for two white males in their early 20s under six feet tall. They were dressed in dark clothing and one man wore a dark wool cap. - --- MAP posted-by: Jo-D
