NOT ALL IMMORAL ACTS ARE CRIMES

RE: "CLEAR moral issue," Jan. 10 editorial by Paul Stanway. I agree that
most crimes are considered immoral by many but that does not mean that all
immoral acts are crimes. Dancing, adultery and telling lies (out of court)
are all legal according to law but considered immoral to most of us.
Criminal law should be restricted to punishing only those who harm others.
It should not include punishing those who offend the morals of the majority.
