Taylor, the 37-year-old MP for Truro and St Austell, said he tried cannabis while studying at Oxford in the 1980s. But as a non-smoker, he said he found the experience "absolutely disgusting". In a BBC interview, Taylor criticised the Government's drugs policies for failing to take account of many people's experience, and called for an "intelligent debate" on the issue. His admission came after a similar disclosure by Cabinet Office Minister Mo Mowlam. - --- MAP posted-by: Derek Rea
