LET'S HOPE HE DIDN'T HAVE POLITICAL ASPIRATIONS PEOPLE

Veteran singer Andy Williams, under the advice of his psychiatrist, took
LSD at the height of his career, reports Entertaindom.com.

The "Moon River" crooner, now 70, was advised to take LSD to uncover the
source of his mounting problems at the time. He says, "I did LSD in the
hospital, never on my own. I did it in a controlled environment to try to
find things out about myself -- about why I was breaking up my marriage, or
why I wasn't happy with fame, although I was extremely successful. A
psychiatrist told me I should take some LSD trips. He said he had gone
through medical school studying it and taking it and he felt it helped
people find themselves."

The easy-listening star claims he learned a lot from the drug. "I began to
feel that not too many things were that important. The important things are
children, honesty, integrity and faith."
