LEGALIZE DRUGS

Regarding your Dec. 21 editorial: Must somebody die?

Why don't you ask that of the drug prohibitionists whose ill-conceived laws
have made killing and death by overdose everyday events. They are the root
cause of all this and they are not in prison yet!

"Cause to become more intense or serious" is the perfect definition of
prohibition. Perhaps the drug prohibitionists can explain to mothers why
their children are not here anymore. Why there are drive-by shootings. Why
so many die from an overdose -- just like they did when they had the
audacity to forbid Americans from enjoying alcohol. How many then went
blind? How many died from bootleg alcohol? How many died from bootleggers'
drive-by shootings?)

The Sun is blaming the cart for where the horse brings it.
