MAJOR SUSPECT IN DRUG TRAFFICKING ARRESTED

Tijuana, Mexico - Soldiers armed with submachine guns raided a youth
football game at halftime and tackled one of Mexico's most wanted men:
Jesus Labra, alleged to be a leader of the notorious Arellano Felix drug
organization.

At least 30 men in civilian clothes charged onto a school grounds where a
football game involving Labra's son was taking place Saturday. Witnesses
said spectators screamed, wept and flung themselves to the ground as the
raid occurred.

It appeared to be one of the mmost important anti-narcotics arrests in
recent years in Mexico and one of the biggest blows against the Arellano
Felix gang. U.S. politicians and officials have long criticized Mexico's
failure to crack down on that group, one of Mexico's most violent.
