LOGAN ARTICLE WAS EXCELLENT

Sir-Nandor Tanczos' attempt to decry Bruce Logan's excellent article
on the legalise-cannabis debate (February 28) has failed. In his
letter (March 1) he offers no denial or contradiction to the facts and
information contained in the article and goes on to contradict
himself. He suggests that with the law change there should be drug
education advocating that a drug-free lifestyle is the healthiest.

This from a man who openly states that he uses drugs. Would Mr Tanczos
care to tell us why, if cannabis is not addictive and he acknowledges
that a drug-free lifestyle is the healthiest, he still uses it?

How ironic that in the same issue of The Press as Mr Tanczos' letter,
there in the Courts section is a defendant maintaining that he never
intended to be involved in drug-dealing, but his judgment had been
affected by his long-term cannabis use.
