Don't just say it's happening everywhere and now make sure you lock your doors, your car and buy a security alarm system - why should we? I have lived in Fairfield all my life and have seen this city go from a country town to the depths of despair. We are now the first in robberies and we have had 10 shootings in the city in a week. I have had my purse twice stolen, my home robbed five times and now across in our park they have installed blue lights to stop drug addicts from shooting-up. They can't find their veins under these lights. From my 56 years' experience and having holidayed for 48 years at Stanwell Park, I do not want to see Wollongong decay in this way. I have seen this deterioration over the years with my own eyes. Don't sit back. Act now. IRENE STIMSON, Fairfield West. - --- MAP posted-by: Richard Lake
