Manitoba, of all places, is now considered the top quality grower of pot. What shocking news to the criminal element here, which no doubt took great pride in the quality they offered. All kidding aside, perhaps the efforts of RCMP have had an effect on the business. Recently in the Prince George area, RCMP have busted three big indoor pot-growing operations. About 2,000 plants were seized in these raids. There is great debate nationwide about marijuana. At their recent convention, the governing federal Liberals passed a motion that may pave the way to decriminalizing possession of the weed. We're not sure that's the right direction to take but we're sure of one thing -- right now it's illegal, it's the RCMP's job to stop illegal activities, and they're doing their best to at least put a dent in the criminal activity here. - --- MAP posted-by: Eric Ernst
