A spokesman for NSW Special Minister of State John Della Bosca said the organisation remained the first choice despite the recent announcement by a local community group, the Kings Cross Community Coalition (KCCC), to fight for the licence. The KCCC said it was unhappy with the church's bid to operate the room at a property at 66 Darlinghurst Rd. The coalition group said more than 70 businesses in the area opposed the site. - --- MAP posted-by: Eric Ernst
