Re: "U.S. drug czar says state initiative would weaken drug courts' power" 
(A-3, June 3):

Barry McCaffrey is very kind to let all of us know that the best way to 
treat a "brain disease" is to punish patients who don't comply with the 
therapy. I always thought that nobody should have the power to impose a 
treatment on anybody, but it's never too late to learn.
