CONSISTENT POSITION

I think that Mayor Rocky Anderson's stance on drug use in the park is
correct and not at all at odds with his stance on decriminalizing
marijuana. Personally, I think that marijuana ought to be legalized, but it
should not be allowed to be used publicly. Alcohol is legal and its
consumption is forbidden in public parks. The same would hold true for drug
use. This is not an issue of decriminalization or legalization but is an
issue of consumption of intoxicants in public parks, which should never be
tolerated.

To all of the people in the drum circle I say if you want to drum and
dance, that's just fine, come to the park. If you want to get stoned, stay
home.
