DRUG DOUBLESPEAK

Great editorial on the drug war ("Drug war's critics don't excuse abuse," 
June 16).

The only problem: How else would they alienate, disenfranchise and 
subjugate minorities in the South and the rest of the nation if not for 
this lie we call a "drug war"?

That's why so many refuse to see the truth. It's much more politically 
correct to use doublespeak.
