GOVERNMENT APPROVES AN ANTI-DRUGS PROGRAM

BISHKEK - The governmental press service announced on 28 June that the 
government has approved a special anti-drugs program for 2001-2003. Kyrgyz 
authorities seized the record 5,370 kilograms of drugs last year and 4,370 
drug-addicted people are officially registered in the country now.
