MORALITY POLICE

Well, again the morality police in Utah have reared their ugly heads.

And, once again, Utah County leads the way in demonstrating how an
oppressive society works.

I refer to the recent dancing ordinance enacted as a knee-jerk reaction to
rave parties.

In America, the many are not supposed to be punished for the misdeeds of
the few. It seems to me that existing laws provide adequate avenues for the
police to prevent drug abuse at public dance venues.

Also, I find it particularly ironic that church dances will be exempt from
enforcement of the new dancing regulations. Utah County and Utah in general
should join the 21st century and become more tolerant, instead of heading
backwards toward the 17th century.

And don't tell me again that if I don't like it, leave.

That is simply another illustration of what I'm talking about.

It simply strengthens my resolve to see Utah join the free world.
