The problem is far deeper than the actions of one man (Officer Joseph Bini). As long as we have "no-knock searches" along with a "make my day" law, this scenario is bound to repeat itself. People make mistakes. If police break into a house on a no-knock warrant, the resident - guilty or not - is allowed under "make my day" to come out firing. The police will react in kind.
