SMOKING MARIJUANA OK

Lately I've been hearing a lot of stuff about how legalizing marijuana 
would be bad. Most all the arguments are irrational and seen through 
easily, but the one I think is the most ridiculous of all is that 
legalizing marijuana would be sending the wrong message out to kids.

How is locking someone up with rapists and murderers and giving him a 
criminal record because someone else doesn't like something he is doing to 
himself, by himself, sending the right message out to kids?
