Forum: http://www.webforums.com/forums/trace/host/msa70.html Author: Kirk Muse MARIJUANA NOT DANGEROUS I am not sure with what authority Sandra S. Bennett makes her medical judgments in her August 22 letter, "MARIJUANA IS NOT MEDICINE." Readers can see what medical and other organizations endorse marijuana as medicine on the Web at http:www.drugwarfacts.org/medicalm.htm. Even if marijuana has no medical value, should a free country's government arrest, jail or imprison someone who chooses to use a natural substance that has never been documented in its 5,000 year history to kill a single person? Even if marijuana were dangerous, which it is not, what right does the government have to punish its citizens for using it? After all, its a free country. Or is it?
