IN THE NEWS: MANUEL NORIEGA

Manuel Noriega, the ex-dictator of Panama who is serving a 30-year sentence 
in Miami on drug-trafficking charges, was convicted of corruption by a 
judge in Panama who added eight more years to the 90 Noriega already has 
been sentenced to in Panama for homicide, illegal enrichment and drug 
trafficking.
