CANNABIS SMOKERS SAFER ON THE ROAD

Calgarians ought not worry even if their garbage men were smoking cannabis
on the job. ("Hassles follow drug claim," Jan. 28.) Every peer reviewed
study ever published proved cannabis smokers are safer on the road than
those "high on life." I wonder why no one bats an eye about those who use
pharmaceutical drugs? There must be tens of thousands of them on the road
and on the job at any given moment. Cannabis does not cause impairment to
motor skills similar to the alcohol experience demonizers would have you
believe. Cannabis causes drivers to relax.
