Perhaps the author should have considered the consequences of prohibition before he supported a policy that turned weeds and flowers into gold. Before they were outlawed, those substances were worth about as much as lawn clippings. Now, because of drug prohibition, not only can the terrorists buy the bullets, but also the weapons to fire them. I'd like to know, do the (prohibitionists) of the world support drug prohibition because it finances terrorists abroad, or because it finances criminal empires on our own soil? Prohibition didn't work for alcohol, it won't work for drugs, and all the patriotic flag waving in the world won't change that fact. Jim White, Oregon, OH - --- MAP posted-by: Rebel
