Porn Okay But Not Pot

HOW IS it that our Supreme Court can rule that for someone to be caught
with perverse images of innocent children for no other purpose than to
satisfy some twisted sexual fantasy is okay, yet if someone is caught with
marijuana, whether it be for medical use or other, he/she can be fined, be
charged with possession, or even be put in jail?

It amazes me that something as damaging, not only to children, but to
society as well, can be ruled as legal to have in our possession and yet
something like marijuana, which has been proven to be beneficial, is still
illegal.

(Actually, the court did NOT okay possession of child porn - except for
one's own private writing or sketches. Otherwise, interesting point)
