ASHCROFT AND STATES' RIGHTS

THE simplest work-around to Attorney General John Ashcroft's decree
against assisted suicide is to have Oregon doctors prescribe nicotine
overdoses. Ashcroft would never stand in the way of a person
exercising free choice to kill him or herself with nicotine.
