PHARMACEUTICALS ARE NO MORE THAN LEGAL POISONS

RE: EDITORIAL comment attached to Matthew Elrod's Nov. 18 letter to the
editor that said it is better to buy a flashlight than inhale candle smoke.
Pharmaceuticals are no more than legal poisons to many of Canada's dying
and chronically ill. I have been granted a legal exemption to use medicinal
marijuana to treat the unrelenting symptoms of progressive Multiple
Sclerosis. Marijauna allows me the human dignity, and quality of life,
taken from me by the use of pharmaceuticals. Given my choice, I'll keep my
non-toxic candle, smoke included, thanks! The flashlight's all yours.
