DORCHESTER DEPUTIES CONFISCATE COCAINE, ARREST FIVE ON I-95

Dorchester County Sheriff's deputies said they confiscated more than 6
kilograms of cocaine and 50 grams of crack cocaine during routine traffic
stops last week along Interstate 95. The first incident occurred Dec. 2
about 10:30 a.m. near St. George when police stopped the driver of a 2001
white Dodge Intrepid who had crossed over the center line. Police said the
driver, Cally Bream Crum, and her passengers acted nervous, and her story
about where she was going didn't make sense. Drug-sniffing dogs found 75
grams of crack and powder cocaine. Police charged Crum, 32, and Sophia
Bell, 24, both of Miami, and Serial Tymes, 28, of Nassau, Bahamas, with
trafficking cocaine and crack cocaine. Three days later, deputies stopped
the driver of a 2001 Dodge Caravan who didn't signal when he changed lanes
on the interstate near St. George. Police grew suspicious when the driver
changed stories about where he was coming from. Authorities searched the
car and found 6 kilograms of cocaine. The driver, George Washington Brown,
38, of Miami, and passenger, Dwight Wade Clark, 27, of Lauderhill, Fla.,
were charged with trafficking cocaine.
