TOBACCO DEATHS ARE FACT

Sandra Bennett is correct in her Feb. 19 letter, "MARIJUANA IS
POTENTIALLY LETHAL." So is just about everything else, including
water. Drink enough water and you will die. So far, in the 5,000 year
history of marijuana use, there are no documented deaths.

As far as Bennett's claim that "marijuana is ultimately far more
dangerous than tobacco," the annual worldwide kill ratio is 3.5 million
for tobacco vs. zero for marijuana.
