MORAL PANIC

Re: "Canada's Lax Laws Ecstasy To Illicit Drug Makers", Apr.9.

One again, a report to start a moral panic. I think they tried the
same thing for alcohol and marijuana before. It seems the RCMP would
like the Canadian government to ban products used to create ecstasy,
even though these products are legal goods found at your
neighbourhood store.

We should probably stop selling bagels because poppy seeds can be
used to grow poppies for heroin.

Maybe the RCMP should investigate how much fat goes into a doughnut,
since fat causes many more deaths than ecstasy and can still be
legally obtained at the store.

Let's start a war against fat instead. The war against drugs has gone nowhere.
