UNFAIR SENTENCING LAWS 

Re "Mother Convicted of Murdering 3-Year-Old," April 12: My girlfriend
faced 25 years to life for being enticed by an undercover cop to buy $10
worth of crack. This gross inequity in penalties demonstrates why the
three-strikes law must be changed to apply only to serious and violent
crimes.
