CHANGE 'THREE STRIKES' LAW

I was pleased to read that a group of citizens is in the process of 
collecting signatures for a state initiative that would modify California's 
"three strikes'' law (Page 15A, Jan. 16). Three strikes should be applied 
to murders, rapists and child molesters but not drug addicts and thieves. 
Let's use our limited prison space for the extremely violent people in our 
state.
