SUPPORT SYRINGE SALES

THANK you for supporting the legalization of pharmacy syringe sales
(Opinion, June 17). As an AIDS-certified registered nurse who has
worked with the Santa Clara County Needle Exchange and Harm Reduction
Program, I know that this is sound public health policy and is in the
best interests of us all. We are fortunate to have a progressive and
supportive Board of Supervisors and district attorney in our county. I
hope that their wisdom prevails with the state Legislature.
