OFFICIALS SHOULD DRUG-TEST EVERY STUDENT

Editor,

Any parent who has a child in a public school has a right to believe that
their child is in a school where they will not be tempted with illegal
drugs. To ensure this, every child, not just the athlete, should be tested
for drugs upon enrollment in school.

If any student tested positive, they should be given a chance to come
clean. To do this they should give to the proper authorities the name of
the person who sold them the illegal drugs, and be willing to testify
against them in a court of law to put them behind bars. If they are not
willing to do this, then they should not be allowed to attend any public
school, and put in a juvenile institution.

Any school system that is not willing to do this, does not really care for
the children in their community, and should be replaced with people who do.
This is the answer to our illegal drug problem in our public schools.
