NEEDLES IN PARKS BECAUSE DRUGS ARE ILLEGAL

Dear editor,

Re: Local parents warned about used needles in Cowichan area parks, July 3.

If drugs were legal, drug users wouldn't be forced to get a quick fix on 
the streets using a needle and then throw it away to avoid being detected 
by the cops. They could purchase clean, cheap, quality tested drugs at the 
corner store and smoke or snort the damn stuff at their leisure at home.

Dirty needles littering our alleys, streets and parks - your tax dollars at 
work.
