TAXES WASTED ON DRUG WAR

I completely agree with Florida Today's July 12 editorial "U.S. needs to 
rethink no-win war on drugs."

Thirty years of wasting American taxpayers' dollars has achieved little but 
the lockup of millions of non-violent drug offenders, most for simple 
possession of marijuana.

In the meantime, we carry our little crusade overseas, indiscriminately 
spraying the crops of poor farmers with poisons and providing guns and 
bombs to fuel civil wars.

All this is to stop people from making themselves feel good.
