4 MORE BRYS. UNDER RANO 12 WATCH

The Regional Anti-Narcotics Office (Rano 12) here has ordered a close watch
on four barangays said to be havens of drug pushers and users.

Rano 12 chief, Supt. Efren Alcuizar, identified the four areas as Purok
Islam in Dadiangas South, Bagsakan and Amao area in Bula, Uhaw in Fatima,
and Barangay Labangal.

He said they have already identified notorious pushers in the area.

Alcuizar warned them to give up.

The Rano 12 chief however noted a steady decline of the illegal drug supply
in the city.

He attributed the decline to the continuing operations being launched by his
command although he also admitted that prices of shabu have shot up.

"Duna gayoy epekto ang atong operasyon ngadto kanila tungod kay nihit na
kaayo karon ang supply sa shabu. Ang usa ka gramo karon mokantidad na sa
P3,000 samtang ang usa ka sachet ang adunay presyong P10,000," said
Alcuizar. (Our continued campaign has affected the supply of shabu here. One
gram now costs P3,000 while one sachet is now priced at P10,000.)

He said their campaign against illegal drugs would continue without let-up.
