NEUMAN IS BEST CHOICE FOR SHERIFF

My name is Paul Serdynski and I am a retired federal agent. During my
career in federal law enforcement I had the privilege of working with
officers from the Dodge County Sheriff's Department on several
significant investigations. I am writing to commend one officer in
particular. Robert Neuman, because I feel that the citizens of Dodge
County need to know that in Bob they have a special and talented
officer who would be an excellent choice as the sheriff of Dodge County.

It's not often that you find the right chemistry in a group of people
that allows the group to excel in their endeavors. But we had that
special chemistry during the years that I worked with Bob Neuman in
Dodge County. Bob always assumed the leadership role in planning and
conducting investigations. He also demonstrated the instincts and
experience of a seasoned officer and the administrative experience
required coordinating activities with different law enforcement
jurisdictions. This is not an easy task.

Bob Neuman impressed me in many ways but I'll just mention a few. Bob
is a man of high integrity and high standards. He expects a lot of
himself and has an energy level that is amazing. In my experience
working with Bob, he will work tirelessly to "do the right thing" for
the victims, citizens and the criminals that he encounters. Bob's
commitment to serving the citizens of Dodge County is evident in the
enthusiastic and proactive approach that he takes toward his
assignments and responsibilities.

Bob is creative and thinks out of the box. He is open to new ideas and
law enforcement concepts. For example, his use of federal assets
forfeiture provisions in drug investigations resulted in sharing of
funds from forfeited assets with Dodge County. Bob is also a man of
compassion and he understands important community issues and the
citizens he serves. He has an exemplary record of participation in
community service organizations and selflessly donates his time and
his talents for causes and activities that improve the quality of life
for the citizens of Dodge County.

I am proud and thankful to have the opportunity to work with such a
high-caliber individual. I believe that Robert Neuman has the
integrity, knowledge, practical and administrative experience and the
strong personnel commitment necessary to serve this community well as
the Dodge County sheriff.
