Hindsight

DON'T CRY FOR TOKER WHO'S DOING TIME

Confession: I had some initial sympathy for that Halifax man who got six
years in jail on two drug charges this week.

Seems he's legally entitled to grow and smoke marijuana for chronic pain
and was claiming his rights were being infringed because he won't have
access to the stuff behind bars.

But then I discovered his situation had nothing to do with his medical
condition and everything to do with his conspiring to possess and traffic
marijuana.

Bye-bye sympathy.

Anyway, I don't know why this guy is so worried. From all I've heard, the
drug trade is pretty brisk in most prisons. Heck, he'll probably feel right
at home, except now he'll have to pay for it.
