IS THERE ANY REASON THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHOULD DENY MEDICINAL RELIEF TO
PEOPLE IN PAIN?

No, definitely not. As an R.N. with extensive experience in caring for
people with varying degrees of pain, I believe it is morally and ethically
wrong for any agency to deny relief. If a person has been informed of any
risks and possible consequences of a particular intervention to relieve
their pain, there is no reason it should be denied them.
