LISTEN TO THE WORKING CLASS

Your response to the cab driver's Sept. 21 letter about the characteristics
of drunks compared to those who have been smoking marijuana seemed quite
sarcastic.

I used to work in a bar and every weekend would have to break up fights
between "macho, indestructible" drunk guys, most times over a loonie on a
pool table. That indestructible mentality is what leads drunks to drive.
The outcome is usually death to the innocent and life with a suspended
licence to the drunk driver.

How many weed-related deaths has the Sun written about? The latest stories
are how it can help medicinally. We should listen to the working class. It
is them who make this world go round. Opinions of editors and biased
newspapers should not sway you as you follow the weed debate.

(The observations of those who work daily with people who are stoned or
drunk hold great merit.)
