PIMENTEL RIGHT ON DRUG WAR

Well, I have just fallen out of my chair. I am in total agreement with O. 
Ricardo Pimentel ("War against drugs just isn't working," Column, 
Thursday). That has never happened before.

Our war on drugs needs to end and head toward decriminalization, at least 
of pot. We should treat drugs like we do alcohol and cigarettes and tax the 
heck out of them.

Unfortunately, as long as our leaders are brainwashed with this war on 
drugs they will continue to waste taxpayers' money.
