I understand that some people in Salisbury have concerns about having a
teen club or rave here in town. However, as a young adult I would have to
support the idea of a safe and fun place for all of us to go.

You see, I am one of the many Salisbury teens that is tired of having
nothing to do after 9 p.m. I know that we have a movie theater, the bowling
alley, the skating rink and a mall, but you cannot imagine how quickly
these things lose their appeal. Not to mention that if you're short on cash
or under the age of 21 your options are cut in half the later it gets.

The people who are fighting the idea of a club are obviously not the ones
that see the negative outcome of bored teenagers. A club could have
benefits not only for the teens of Salisbury but also for parents who
wouldn't have to worry about their kids running the roads all night. I know
that there are many others who share my opinion.

Hopefully we can all work together and get something started.
