MARIJUANA REGULATION

Re "Pot's popping up amid sequoias," Oct. 3: Park Superintendent Richard 
Martin warns that visitors have had guns pointed at them by pot growers 
while in the forest. That may be true and the perpetrators should be caught 
and prosecuted. However, shouldn't we be just as worried about a 
gun-toting, masked undercover officer who takes his job a little too seriously?

It is time for a rational national policy regulating marijuana.
