DON'T PUNISH USERS

Re: Legalization misguided, by Charmaine Wood, Oct. 18.

Charmaine, no government has the right to punish anyone for ingesting 
anything, however harmful. To put it even more plainly, there is no more 
reason to punish drug users and dealers today than there was in the past to 
hang witches.
