MARIJANA IS A MINOR ISSUE TO POLITICIANS

In response to Patricia Schwartz's statement in Wednesday's Campus Forum,
medical propaganda has done its best to keep prohibition alive for 30 years
now. But remember that, believe it or not, for politicians marijuana is a
"minor" issue, and that's why it's never really been debated in the
government for generations.

If the government commissioned its own scientists, the report would be
biased or filled with half-truths. If the press gets hold of any
information about pot, likely they will pan it to sell to the nice
cookie-cutter bourgeois crowd. I remember many research projects that
sought to "prove" marijuana was harmful; sometimes the whole thing is
downright Cuvierian.

Thanks for the information about grass. I feel less worried about getting
cancer now.
