WHO GETS HURT?

Would anyone get hurt if a person rents a porno video? Would anyone else,
other than the person engaged in soliciting the services of a prostitute,
be at risk of contracting a sexually transmitted disease? Have we made any
headway on the "war on drugs?"

I don't think so. We spend billions of dollars trying to curb activities
that have been around for thousands of years. We clog the judicial system
with cases pertaining to these penny-ante antics, while at the same time we
ignore the real issues that harm decent citizens every day.

Law enforcement should spend its time on catching "real criminals," such as
murderers, rapists, home invaders and burglars, to mention but a few. Those
are the activities that can affect the lives of the rest of us.

The MBI is wasting time and funds fighting a losing battle. I urge it not
to squander its resources and to focus on real crimes.
