He says police will be able to clamp down on the dealing of amphetamines at so-called drug houses, where dealing takes place. "People know that drugs are dealt there but police haven't been able to or don't have the powers to effectively shut those operations down," Mr Stirling said. "We have to construct and enhance police powers in legislative terms to deal with that sort of situation, which could have been done under that bill last year." - --- MAP posted-by: Josh
