TOO MUCH POLITICAL AGENDA

I just finished reading your article "Forgotten man" (Dec. 4) and just
wanted to say amazing, absolutely amazing!

I cannot believe and still am having some trouble believing the
heartbreaking tragedy that Steve Tucker and his brother endured at the
hands of our federal government. I've heard of cases of unjust sentencing
but the usage of the so-called "conspiracy law" in the land of the free? I
don't get it. A 10-year sentence for a crime not committed?

No real evidence to convict on so using hearsay to try people for drug
charges with no actual drug transactions being made. What a shameless
cop-out on the DEA's behalf, wasting taxpayers money to take men not guilty
of any clear crime to trial.

What about the real drug czars and street pushers the DEA is obviously
neglecting pursuing by putting man hours into a case such as Steve and Gary
Tucker. Sounds like too much political agenda is being served and not
enough of our basic rights as Americans are being served.

Wake up fellow Americans; we are electing the officials responsible for
passing such ridiculous laws, therefore we the people do have the power
overall to change things!
