RESPONSE TO O'REILLY

This is in response to Bill O'Reilly's column in Sunday's Macon Telegraph
in which he hailed the commercial that the government ran twice about the
link to buying drugs and funding terrorism.

This commercial was another attempt by our current government to link Sept.
11 to their own moral agenda. While I understand that the Taliban used
opium money to support itself, the main source of income in the Middle East
that helped fund Osama bin Laden and his terrorist organization is the more
highly addictive substance we call oil.

Until we as a nation find alternative ways for power, we also support
terrorism and terrorist countries. The likelihood of that happening under
our oil-based president is between slim and none.
